Majo Molfino

Majo Molfino is an author, executive coach, and researcher whose work focuses on helping women — particularly Latinas and women of color — reconnect with their creative potential, dismantle inherited beliefs about their own limitations, and build lives and careers that reflect their deepest values and vision. Her work sits at the intersection of personal development, cultural identity, and feminist leadership.

Molfino was born in Argentina and raised across multiple cultures, an experience that gave her both a firsthand understanding of the disorientation of navigating between worlds and a sensitivity to the cultural pressures that shape women’s identities and aspirations. She trained as an executive coach and worked extensively with women in leadership before channeling her experience into writing and research focused on the specific barriers that prevent women from expressing their full creative power.

Her book Inner Field Trip: A Guide to Rekindling Your Creative Life offers women a practical and emotionally resonant path toward reclaiming the creative identity that social conditioning, perfectionism, and imposter syndrome so often suppress. The book draws on Molfino’s coaching practice and her own experience navigating the gap between external success and internal aliveness — and invites readers to trace the origins of their self-limiting narratives before moving toward a more expressive, authentic way of living and working.

Molfino has been featured in a range of publications and podcasts focused on leadership, creativity, and the particular challenges facing women of color in professional environments. Her coaching work engages both individual clients and organizational contexts, addressing the structural and psychological factors that together determine whether talented women are able to fully bring themselves to their work.

Her contribution to the literature on creativity and women’s empowerment is notable for its cultural specificity — she does not write for a generic universal audience but for women whose creative lives have been shaped by particular histories of migration, cultural expectation, and the complex negotiations of identity that define the lives of so many women navigating multiple cultural inheritances.
