Charlie Harary

Charlie Harary is an American author, speaker, entrepreneur, and professor whose work sits at the intersection of personal development, Jewish thought, and business leadership. Based in New Jersey, Harary earned his J.D. from Columbia Law School and built a career in real estate investment and financial services before becoming a prominent speaker and teacher on topics of personal growth, psychology, and spirituality. He is a clinical professor of management and entrepreneurship at Sy Syms School of Business at Yeshiva University.

His book Unlocking Greatness: The Unexpected Journey from the Life You Have to the Life You Want (2018) draws on neuroscience, psychology, and Jewish philosophy to argue that most people are living well below their potential, not because of external limitations but because of deeply held limiting beliefs and stories they tell about themselves. The book offers practical frameworks for identifying and changing these stories and for developing what Harary calls a “greatness mindset.”

Harary has been a featured speaker at events for major Jewish organizations, business leadership conferences, and university programs. His lectures and classes, many of which are available online, have attracted large audiences interested in the intersection of self-improvement and Jewish wisdom traditions. He has been featured on television programs and podcasts focused on business, spirituality, and personal development.

He continues to teach at Yeshiva University, manage his business investments, and speak publicly about the principles of human potential and purpose-driven living. His work represents a distinctive synthesis of American self-help culture and Jewish religious and philosophical tradition.
