Leah Penniman

Leah Penniman is a Black Kreyol farmer, author, and food justice activist. She co-founded Soul Fire Farm in Grafton, New York, a community farm committed to dismantling racism in the food system. She is the author of Farming While Black: Soul Fire Farm’s Practical Guide to Liberation on the Land (2018).
