Jeff Kinney

Jeff Kinney is an American author and illustrator, best known as the creator of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series, one of the best-selling children’s book franchises in publishing history. Born in 1971 in Maryland, Kinney originally developed the series as a webcomic before Amulet Books published the first volume in 2007. The series has sold over 250 million copies worldwide and has been adapted into multiple films. Kinney also owns an independent bookstore, An Unlikely Story, in Plainville, Massachusetts.
