Darcie Little Badger

Darcie Little Badger is a Lipan Apache author and scientist whose work weaves together Indigenous mythology, speculative fiction, and contemporary storytelling. She holds a PhD in oceanography and brings a scientist’s rigor to worldbuilding grounded in Lipan Apache oral traditions. Her debut novel Elatsoe was a Locus Award finalist, and A Snake Falls to Earth, her second novel, won the Lodestar Award for Best Young Adult Book and was a finalist for the World Fantasy Award. She lives in Texas.
