Rokhl Auerbach

Rokhl Auerbach (1903-1976) was a Yiddish journalist, literary critic, and memoirist. She was one of only three surviving members of the Oyneg Shabes, the secret Warsaw Ghetto archive organized by Emanuel Ringelblum. After the war she emigrated to Israel, where she founded the witness testimony division at Yad Vashem.
